Hello

I hope people don't mind me posting here but feeling a little fed up.

I'll set out straight away I'm made up I'm pregnant and can't wait to meet my baby and know I'm lucky to be pregnant

However I'm finding this pregnancy tough for the following reasons:

My back has completely seized up with sciatica down both legs for over a week now. My mum is doing the leg work caring for my dc1: I can lie down ( with pain) and walk slowly ( with pain) around my house. I can't really sit. It's very painful but when I think it's getting better something happens which hard it again and it goes worse. Paracetamol abs co codine do nothing for the pain

Cough - I've had one nd off since January not really gone away and it's making my back worse when I cough

Sore throat - again since January really hard to swallow

Earache - last two weeks on and off. Water bottle on ear helps but not always practical carrying round

Tinnitus- in other ear - heard it most at night or when quiet

Sticky sore eye - lots of sleep in it closing it when I sleep and sore when I blink

Bleeds- I'm 18 weeks. I had brown spotting until 8 weeks. I've had three red bleeds ( low lying placenta so I've been toldeither baby inside kicking it or im doing too much ) since 14 weeks if not the red blood I often have brown blood when wipe. I've told midwife and been hospital and paid for one reassurance scan. I haven't felt baby kick yet so don't have that reassurance

My friend told me my pain threshold must be better during pregnancy but it's not im in agony and feel like everything is getting on top of me :(

And I'm only 18 weeks :( :( :(

Sending you big hugs! In regards to the sore throat and ear ache, they could be linked so make an appointment with your dentist as they may be able to help.

Could you see a chiropractor or acupuncturist for your back? Xx

Thank you x

Not thought about dentist though it's likely I'm picking up all germs from my son who started nursery in January...

I have gone to doctor/ midwife/ hospital with the different things but it just seems to be one of the things.

I can't actually move too far at moment with my back but will think abojt those suggestions. I do have regular physio for my my back since last pregnancy and it has been working up until the other week. I have my next physio next friday so hoping I can move around enough / be able to sit so I can get to appointment.

I understand why pregnant women can't take painkillers/ decongestants etc but it's so hard! X
I've also had headaches for about three weeks or so which I've checked with midwife and she said probably hormonal.
