Hi everyone!

I'm new here and currently 30 weeks pregnant with my first. I've had issues with food pre pregnancy although I'm not slim and over the last two months they've become really bad! I struggle to force myself to eat and when I do instantly feel awful and feel the need to make myself sick!

I've gained 3.2kg since the start of my pregnancy up until the 30 week mark. I have no idea how this sits on a scale of any 'averages'

Any advice on other soon to be mums who have felt this way. I feel guilty and horrible eating because of how my body is looking at this stage.

Thanks xo

I'm sorry that you're struggling so much!

A lot of the weight gain will be the baby, the placenta, amniotic fluid etc. So please try not to worry. Weight gain in pregnancy is good and expected. If you look online, there are articles which tell you what a healthy weight gain for your bmi is.

Please speak to your gp/midwife about how you're feeling as it sounds like you could benefit from some support.
