Experienced something very odd today. I’m 20 weeks pregnant and whilst out walking my dog I had this sudden, intense back pain on my left side which took my breath away and I had to sit down. The pain went after about 5 minutes but when I got home it started again about 30 mins later, again just for 5-10 mins. I’m very active and I’m out with my dog twice a day every day and certainly wasn’t pushing myself.
I ended up calling the hospital because I wasn’t sure what else to do, they advised taking paracetamol and calling again if it happened anymore. Thankfully it hasn’t but I’ve had a dull ache there all day.
Anyone else had this sudden, intense pain? I know back pain during pregnancy is really common but this felt so severe and short-lived
