The tiredness that I experienced in the 1st trimester is back with a vengeance! Sad

Tips for coping with this? I'm exhausted and feel I could sleep forever.

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Hi @amrscot do you know - I thought it was not normal to feel tired at this stage (is 30weeks) I have 2 other children and today I've felt so exhausted and could have fell asleep but couldn't because of my children...my eyes are still burning ! I'm not sure we can do much just keep plodding on and resting when you can x

Have you had your iron levels checked?

JohnLapsleyParlabane · 16/02/2019 20:07

I'm currently running on a nap every other day and bed by 9pm (34wks)

@Sexnotgender I asked and she just said I was slightly anemic, no idea what that means? Confused

Yet they haven't prescribed anything for me

I’m surprised they haven’t given you iron if you’re slightly anaemic.
I was borderline anaemic at 28 weeks and took iron until I gave birth 2 weeks ago and it made a massive difference.

@Sexnotgender I think I'm going to ask and get a second opinion.

I saw a doctor who was very young and had just started at the practice, she was so unsympathetic and made me feel as though I was lying about how bad I felt! GP told me we were running out of time with the appointment and said "what do you want me to do about it?"..

That’s shit.
I was seen at the maternity assessment unit at the hospital. Doctor was absolutely lovely and made sure I was happy with everything.
