Lower back pain

Hello, I am 10 weeks pregnant with my first child and the last few days I have been having a pain in my lower back/butt muscles! Woke up this morning and it's much worse.

Do you think it could be pregnancy related? I assumed you wouldn't get back pain until towards the end!

It hurts to bend down and I'm almost walking with a limp.

Any advice would be welcomed.

I have had lower back ache for a few weeks now (I'm 14 weeks) and my understanding is that it's pretty normal as your ligaments soften. I feel a dull ache more than a stabbing pain, which would concern me. In any case, I think it's worth asking your midwife about it.
