Brown/Pink spotting for 8 days, now 6+1

I've had 2 miscarriages previously and have never gotten this far. At 5 weeks I started spotting brown discharge. This seems to be worse when I have been on my feet all day at work. It is only when I wipe, and not every time. Yesterday I had a bowel movement and was straining a bit, and I had red/pink when I wiped. This settled and nothing for the rest of the day until I opened my bowels later (not straining) and it was pink again with a drip in the toilet bowl. This morning it is brown again. I've had some mild cramping about 4 days ago but this has settled now. I have my early scan today, but just wondered if anyone else has had spotting for this length of time and not miscarried?

I had this during week 6 for 7 days on and off. I am now 8 weeks so still early doors but wanted to share that I’m scared too and your not alone 😘 mine came with mild cramping too. Nothing since. I had a mmc last year so it’s always on your mind. Good luck lovely it can be totally normal xxx

I had my scan today. It's only measuring 5 weeks, which would mean I had a positive test 2dpo. Impossible. I started bleeding at 5 weeks so I know where this is heading.
