24+2. I pee a small amount every time I cough and/or sneeze. Normal?

I’m 24+2 today. Over the last couple of days of having a nasty cold, ive noticed that most times when I’ve coughed/sneezed, I’ve leaked a little bit of wee. Definitely wee, smells like wee and I can feel it coming out.

I’m wearing thick sanitary pads to keep it under control but it’s sooo uncomfortable. I can only imagine it’ll get worse as the weeks drag on. I’ve been doing my pelvic floor exercises throughout and it doesn’t seem as though they’ve made much of a difference.

This is my second baby, never have incontinence problems outside of pregnancy.

Totally normal in my experience I’m afraid. I didn’t have it with my first pregnancy but do with my second!

I'm 22+5 and this happens to me. I'm going to the loo regularly to try and keep my bladder empty-ish. I have also downloaded the NHS squeezy app to remind me to do my pelvic floor exercises. I've had to pause those though because of PGP.

I found myself very sadly looking at tena ladies in Sainsburys this week.

At an antenatal class last week the physio said not to settle for leaking as normal because it absolutely is not normal. She said if it happened get a referral to the physio team because they can really help.
