Early labour?

Hey everyone!

I am 36+1 weeks pregnant with baby number 4. I have had one full-term labour, and two pre-term labours (32 weeks and 36 weeks). Since last night I have been having waving cramps in my lower back, thighs and hips. They radiate to my lower abdomen, hard and quite painful (sometimes sharp, sometimes dull) last for about 30 seconds and then ease off. The back cramping is pretty continuous; but the contractions themselves are not time able.
I have had panadol and a warm shower. Nothing has stopped the cramping. When I cramp I will stand up and walk around, have a drink, or lay on my side to see if they subside. But they don't. I have been losing a LOT of clear gooey discharge, which I assume is my mucus plug but just not completely as it's clear. Sometimes even a bit yellow. Blob/snot like.
All my labours have been drug-free naturals, so I know I should know. But to be honest, I forget lol. I am also constantly emptying my bowels with bad pain in my stomach. I literally have no more poo to poop. I feel a heaviness in my vagina when I try to poo. I need to go, but nothing comes out. It's also quite sore and very dry. Does this sound like early labour to you? Thanks!!!!

Sounds like early labour to me. You need to ring your hopspital NOW as your baby is not yet 37 weeks they will want to try and delay it so you have steroid injections to develop the baby’s lungs.

Sounds like it could be. What happened over night, how are you this morning?

@4littlefleas I could've written this myself! 36weeks today and been having all the symptoms you describe off and on for the last 2 days. I'm giving it until Sunday before I worry (unless something obvious happens) but I've had noticeable BH contractions for a month already so not panicking.

How have you been today?
