Here we go again - HCG not rising

Scan tomorrow to check not ectopic. Surely they wouldn’t be able to see anything ina tube I’m only 4+1

Literally have no faith in my body. What makes it worse is my husband has cancer and this pregnancy was a surprise just before treatment started so have had to freeze sperm a few weeks back for future but what hope is there with IVF if my body can’t get the egg to implant properly

Don’t give up hope yet, I’ve read so much about varying numbers of hgc, it seems so different for everyone.

I’m about 4+3 according to LML and clear blue digital but last night had the most horrendous stomach and back pain I couldn’t even get up, it was agony. I havnt had any bleeding and touch wood just slight cramping Today, so I know the feeling. It’s awful when it’s so out of your hands and all you can do is just hope xx

Firstly - I'm sorry to hear about your husband. What terrible news.
Secondly - I would like to congratulate you on your pregnancy.

Do not give up hope. HCG levels (unless dropping) don't mean as much as you think. I'm having my fourth (6th pregnancy).
The two I lost were further down the track (9 weeks and 13 weeks). But the pregnancies that went full term had 2 where not only was I bleeding/clotting. But my HCG levels were also not moving up as smoothly as you'd expect. I have 2 beautiful girls from that.

The doctor decided to wait until yesterday to do another blood test and it did go up.

She said it 'could be' viable and that I just have to wait another week and then she will scan me.

I guess it will be a long week!

That’s a good rise, OP - it’s doubling every 48-72 hours as you would expect aviable pregnancy to do. Fingers crossed for you.
