First response - strong test line, v feint control line

Hi all,

I’ve been testing positive for a week and a half, but the right hand line (with the tip pointing to the left) is getting so feint it worries me.

My OH joked it’s because I was holding upside down which he now regrets! Now I’m panicking that the control line is the test line and vice versa. ....and yes I’m sounding like a loon.

The test only has so much ink so as your hormones increase, the positive pregnancy confirmation line gets stronger and stronger. It does this by taking ink from the control side.

I had this because I tested about a week late not realising. It just means the hormone is at a high level already.

Thank you. I'm letting myself listen to the irrational side of my brain too much when it comes to this!

I had First Response internet cheapies that haven't got a key on the test itself. I was genuinely panicking that I was holding it the wrong way round and it was the test line that was now feint. I had a chemical pregnancy in December so had to watch the test line fade away. It's made me overly sensitive about it I think.

Thanks for the assurance
xx
