Mucus plug - lost at 28 weeks with twins - panicking!

I’m 28+3 with MCDA boys.

Woke up this morning and lost my mucus plug.

Couple of small streaks of pink. Have been at hospital since 7am - trace of protein and ketones in urine BP of 153/103.

Had scan babies looking great at 3lbs and 3lb4 - cervix is long and closed but plug has definitely gone.

I am desperately concerned about pre term labour. I know the plug can regenerate but does anyone have any success stories with twins of paint plug early and carrying to term?

Losing plug early not paint plug!

Not twins sorry but I lost mine at 16 weeks, a massive one and when I went to actual labour it was just bits and bobs.

It does regenerate, I guess the pink streaks may make a difference but like I say, I lost mine then got a new one

I lost bits of mine with blood at 12 and 13 weeks. I’ve also lost bits of thick, jelly mucous throughout. Currently 24+1.

I just wanted to say that those are excellent weights for twins at the stage of pregnancy you’re at!

You’re in the right place and I’m sure they’ll monitor you closely although I know you’ll still be extremely worried.
