Don’t feel pregnant anymore

Hi everyone

I am 7+4 weeks pregnant today but over the last few days I have not really had any pregnancy symptoms at all. I’ve had nausea, headaches and frequent urination since finding out I’m pregnant but now I don’t feel any different to before I was pregnant. I’m worried something is wrong.

Is there anything my midwife could do e.g. book me an early scan or will I have to wait til the normal 12 week scan? I haven’t had any pain or bleeding but the loss of symptoms is worrying me.

Thank you in advance

Just hold your horses a little longer you might get overwhelmed with sickness in the next couple of weeks or so. I didn't feel pregnant this time around (it's my third) but then I got hit with a million symptoms and a bit of bleeding too.

You won't get an early scan unless there's a medical reason for it I don't think? It's a tough old wait until 12 weeks but hang on in there, keep yourself busy and it will soon come around.

Good Luck OP Smile

I’m 8 weeks tomorrow and feel the same except I’ve had no nausea 😕 I feel the same as you and I’m extra worried as I had a mmc 5 months ago xx good luck 💐

I felt the same and posted similarly but the nausea and morning sickness came around 7/8 weeks with a force. I've had different symptoms this time besides the sickness. With my others I needed the toilet a lot in first weeks and I haven't this time. My boobs have grown and been sore this time where they were no different until milk came in with the others. Hand on in there, my friend has virtually no symptoms and very healthy babies and then randomly had sickness with one of hers. I know plenty who say they had no symptoms at all though. When I asked my midwife about my lack of symptoms around 7 weeks she reassured me that without bleeding or pain, it's most likely fine and it was. Congratulations xx

It can be completely normal, i havent had any of your typical pregnancy symptoms, no feeling/being sick at all, boobs didnt feel any different to how they normally feel before a period etc. The only thing i did have was tiredness which got alot better at about 13 weeks. I'm now 31 weeks and still with no symptoms except a bump and some back pain from my horrible work chair. A lack of symptoms doesnt mean there's anything wrong alot of the time :)

Thank you everyone for sharing your experiences. You’ve put my mind more at rest and all I can do now is wait for the 12 week scan with my fingers crossed.

Thank you xx

Hi OP, my sister didn’t even know she was pregnant at this point. Good luck with your scan!

MrsC87 · 13/02/2019 12:17

Sounds like me and then week 10 hit! Jeez the sickness was unreal! Don't worry too much it'll probably be on the way I'm sorry to say xx

ginpink · 13/02/2019 12:21

Hi OP, have you considered a private scan? I'm sure things are fine but to help put your mind at rest!?

HopefulFeelings · 13/02/2019 12:34

I did have overwhelming sickness from weeks 5-7 just like my first pregnancy, but it’s stopped suddenly.
Hi @ginpink, yes I was thinking of a private scan so I might go ahead with that. I’m a SAHM and I know I’ll go out of my mind waiting til my 12 week scan!

Also meant to say that with my first pregnancy I had overwhelming sickness from week 5 to my second trimester so the fact that it has stopped suddenly in this pregnancy is worrying me x

Totally normal. My symptoms came and went at that point. To be honest you will probably feel like this until you feel the baby start moving later in your 2nd trimester. Pregnancy up to about 20 weeks was the most stressful and anxious time for me. You have all my sympathies!

Easterbuns1 · 13/02/2019 12:46

Symptoms are funny things, they can be terrible, come and go or be completely absent. Also subsequent pregnancies are often totally different to previous ones. It's hard not to worry but someone told me to assume everything was ok unless you know for certain it isn't and that helped me a little.

HopefulFeelings · 13/02/2019 12:47

Thank you so much everyone. You’ve made me feel a lot better xx

Thank you so much for asking. Little one is 4 years old now! So everything worked out for me ❤️
