Pregnant with twins - when did you start your mat leave?

Hi ladies, hoping for a bit of advice from anyone who has had twins! FTM and currently 21+2 with DCDA twins. I'm conscious I need to tell work when I want to start mat leave but I really have no idea what's feasible with twins - I'm already very large and uncomfortable, and the EDD I have is the standard 40 week date (23rd June). The midwife has advised me to expect to go to 35 - 36 weeks and the consultant has advised 37 - 38 weeks so I'm unsure when I can expect the babies to arrive. I guess I'm just hoping for some advice on at what point you felt too uncomfortable to work and when twins are likely to arrive!

Thanks for reading 😊

In the twin group we were in it was very very mixed some went st 30weeks I was the latest but had a very very easy pregnancy with my twins much better than with singleton pregnancy I left day before my planned section at 38+4.

You will know when you have had enough. Depends also on if you planning to go back how much mart leave you get etc
