Early labour - what should I do?!

So, think I'm in early labour - losing bits of my mucous plug, had mild, irregular contractions all evening/night last night, but these have eased off a bit. Am at home letting my youngest watch too much peppa pig.

This is DC4 so I really should know - is there anything I can do to speed this whole process along?! Am bouncing on my ball at the moment. Was in slow labour for days last time but when it eventually kicked off it, it was pretty quick and straightforward.

Just want to skip to the part where the baby is here!

I have no advice as 39+3 with my first baby. However I’m in the same position as you I think. Had sweep on Sunday and think I’ve been losing my mucus plug since then. Was up until 5am with cramping, sore back and nausea! Nothing regular and it didn’t increase in intensity. Also eased off this morning so assume it’s very early stages and that I’ll likely feel like this for a few days.

I’m planning to go on a long walk and then a nice relaxing bath if the cramps come back!

Watching with interest to see if others can provide any further guidance!

Hope that things progress quickly for you and you get to meet baby soon xx
