What exercises did mum's find effective and gentle after giving birth? Currently 2 days PP and EBF so need nice gentle things like walking that I can do with or around my 2 DC

I did naff all except walk the dogs once a day for the first 6-8weeks
And hoovering or mopping but I could never manage both in the same day.
After that I just started doing my prenatal stuff like yoga to ease my body back into it. Baby and me kind of workouts that I could do while babe was on the floor or acting as my weights in squats, plan on doing the same this time round as my dd has watched me workout almost every day so actually joins me sometimes or just enjoys playing with my mats or her dolls while I get my sweat on with some music to dance to 😊

I did a postnatal Pilates class from 6w post birth (the instructor insists on waiting until you’ve had 6 week check before doing it). I could take baby along which was convenient. Before this I just did plenty of walking around with the pram.
