Easy to strap on baby sling recommendations

Please can anyone recommend an easy to strap on baby sling? With my first baby I bought one but it was such a pain to put on I didn't use it. Really could do with a decent sling this time around as I'll have a 2 year old to chase after with newborn.

For the first couple of months a pre-wrapped stretchy wrap like a close Caboo is great, easy to use and comfy.

I’m getting to the stage with DS now that he’s getting a bit bigger and I’m looking for a buckle sling. I have been gifted a connecta which people rave about but I can’t get on with it personally (I find it hard to do up and it gives me neck ache) so am looking for something else, possibly a fidella fusion but am going along to a sling library on Wednesday to try a couple of different ones, which I recommend you do as I think everyone is different with what suits them.

I've got a close caboo lite and it's really easy. It's held in place by rings so you just loosen it and put it over your head and just pull the ends to tighten.

I echo what a PP has said and really recommend getting yourself to a sling library if there is one local to you. I really thought I would prefer a stretchy style wrap sling to a more structured carrier but after I tried out the close Caboo I was glad I hadn’t bought one as I just couldn’t get on with it. Doesn’t mean I wouldn’t recommend it just didn’t work for me. I ended up buying an ergo baby after trying it out and I loved it. I found it pretty easy to do up myself but my husband needed help to do up one of the straps as he couldn’t reach. Once on though it is super comfy as the weight is supported on your hips rather than just your back/shoulders like some other styles.

I have the Stokke mycarrier front and back - it's amazing.

Thanks for all the recommendations! Hopefully I will have a better experience with the sling this time around!
