Hello
Can I eat smoked salmon and hard boiled eggs when pregnant? I've seen so many mixed messages on the internet
Thanks
TJ 😘

Yes but no more than twice a week.

Yes.

There are sooo many rules and things you can and can't do, your head starts to spin.

I would only stick to advice from the NHS: www.nhs.uk/conditions/pregnancy-and-baby/foods-to-avoid-pregnant/

There are lots of old wives tales and misinformation. Stick to the proper advice and not what random people say.

Definitely read the NHS pages. Smoked salmon is fine but you need to limit the amount.

You have soft boiled or even raw eggs as long as the are lion stamped.

NHS webiste says: Smoked fish, which includes smoked salmon and smoked trout, is considered safe to eat in pregnancy.

Personally I'd say read the advice and then throw it out the window.
Eat what you feel is right, everything in moderation.

But yes they are "safe" to eat in pregnancy.
