I’m 35+4 with our second!

Just asking around- was your birth quicker with your second? How did s/he weigh in comparison? Did s/he come early???

Thanks!

15 hours quicker!
10oz lighter
1 day earlier

It was all far less stressful the second time round

My 1st labour (40+1) was awful and needed cut, forceps & transfusion. 15 hours. Baby was 9lb 3oz.

2nd (41+2) took less than half as long, just a graze. 5 hours. Baby was 9lb 4oz.

3rd baby was over a pound bigger and not even a graze.

Hoping it goes well for you 😊

10 days earlier (day before due date), labour much faster - 2hr Active labour vs 20ish first time round. Exactly the same weight!

Mine was much longer and ended in emcs.

12 days earlier induced and 2oz lighter.

I found the second time easier because I knew what to expect (anything) and I was much more confident to tell them what I wanted.
