I am 27 weeks pregnant, and the last day or so ive had an increased flow down there to the point it soaked my underwear. I contacted triage last night, who told me the usual put a pad in and check back in 2 hours, which i did and it had decreased loadss, so they said try another 2 hours and see what happens as it was not enough they were particularly worried, but said call back if you are worried and we will see you. I left it overnight as it was late and i had a midwife appointment today anyway, and it had seemed to slow down. It seems to be getting fairly bad again but its not soaking a pad but i can feel it if that makes sense? I am also sore down there as if i had recently had sex but i havent and keep getting pains in my stomach which the midwife put down to just stretching. I am still worried about it... Do i ring triage again? Anyone else had similar and its been okay? what do they do if i was to go in?

I would call if you are concerned. I think they sometimes want you to bring in a pad so they can test and see if any amniotic fluid is leaking so maybe insist on getting it checked if you are worried, especially with the pains.

I've called them and they have booked me in for an appointment but now I'm a ball of emotions trying to sort out getting there and everything and I'm so scared now.

Try and stay calm and focus on getting there. Waters replenish themselves so if it waters, you are not necessarily going to have baby now. I thought I was leaking ( soaked gussets) and sore ... turned out I had thrush and a lot of watery discharge ... no itching ... normal bugs/ infections can present differently in pregnancy due to hormones. Best wishes

@blondiecub0109 that is very similar to what they told me to. I'm glad I went down though but I'm so glad it was not my waters!!
