Co-sleeper crib advice!

Hi everyone, pregnant with my first and would love some advice about co-sleeping cribs!

Firstly - im planning to bottle feed only....would a co-sleeper be worth it or are they only really useful if you're breast feeding?

Secondly - can anyone recommend one that can be adjusted to a high level? Our mattress & divan base measures 68cm from the floor, and im struggling to find a co-sleeper that will align that high with the top of our mattress! I was looking at the chicco next to me cribs but they only seem to go up to 54cm high.

Thank you!Smile

I'm researching them too and have a high superking divan. Yeah chicco next2me definitely too small. Snuzpod state they are suitable for a parents mattress up to the height of 63cm.

The only one I've seen up to 70cm is the Knuma Huddle+ but it's dearer than all the other co sleepers unless get 2nd hand and buy new mattress.

I'd think even with formula feeding it'd still be handy having baby right next to you but if you're all ready out of bed making the bottle the difference might not be worth the extra cost of a tall co sleeper. Although if baby was hard to settle at night for sleeping a co sleeper could be worth extra money!!

We got a snuzpod and used a plank under it to raise it up. I painted the plank white so it looked nice! There weren't any high ones when I was looking (DS is 3 now).

I'd say if you are going to have to get up in the night to make bottles anyway that a bedside crib would be more of a hinderance- they make getting out of bed a bit of a pain. I'd save my money and buy a normal crib. The benefits for breastfeeders are that you just slide baby over to you and pop them on the boob, no getting out of bed.

Thank you both so much. Ive got quite a while to go yet so i have plenty of time to decide! I can see both pros & cons!

We have a really high super king bed and we had a bednest for DC1, which did go high enough. You can't rent them anymore but I just got one for £30 for DC2 on eBay. You can still buy new mattresses and fabric bits from the bednest website.
