Just wondering if anyone new their waters were going to go just before they did. Asking as today I've had a lot of niggles. And have a really heavy pressure feeling down below. Baby has been constant on the move for last 3 hours and I've had some back pain. And weeing for England. I'm not sure if baby is dancing on my bladder or if it's my water bulging but even after I've been for a wee and come back and lie Down it feels like I'm going to wee myself again.

Sort of, my waters had started to go at home in small gushes and contractions started thirty minutes after. When I was walking up to the birthing unit I felt real pressure and kept stopping because I thought they'd burst in the corridor. When I got upstairs the midwife went to examine me, but I had one big contraction and they went completely. If babies movements have ramped up though and it's not normal for the baby I'd get checked out, any change in movements should be looked at.

A friend of mine felt baby really low down/lots of pressure the evening before she went into labour. I had no idea, was just standing by the kitchen sink!

I was out and about in the morning shopping and felt like I was having alot of discharge. Then when I went home it continued and I was wearing heavy pads but I wasnt sure (wasnt feeling any twinges or pain)so rang the hospital who asked me to come in with a pad and they would check. I went in that evening and they confirmed my waters had gone then sent me home and said if contractions hadnt started by midday the following day, to come back in.
Contractions began at 3am the next morning and I laboured at home with the tens machine until 11am then by time I got to hospital was 5cm.

My waters went at 38+4, 12 hours before contractions started and I had no clue at all it was about to happen. Luckily for me they went with a big gush while I was sat on the loo anyway so less mess. They then continued with smaller amounts everytime i stood up for the next few hours.
