No but which did you have first? I'm no expert but I thought blood tests are supposed to be conclusive but that said I don't think you can get a false negative pregnancy test, unless it's a faulty test or Evaporation line? Was it a clear positive test? Why did you have a blood test? I've never had one to confirm a pregnancy before. Sorry for all the questions just trying to get the full picture. Hope you're OK. Fingers crossed for the outcome you want?x

Hi @rebeccac29, I read the initial message yes just never known Dr's to do a blood test to check if you got a positive pregnancy test so wondered if there was a reason why and if you had the test after or before your positives. Can't see any pics?x

rebeccac29 · 08/02/2019 11:32

The pics won't upload but docs pregnacy test was negative and wanted to double check all mine have been postive

I'm surprised they did a blood test? When I went to GP and said I was pregnant, she basically said "great, this is your due date, refer yourself to st Thomas hospital, here's some folic acid." Lol. Did you ask for the test? The blood test is supposed to be more reliable. What did the GP say when you said you had a positive stick test?

Karigan195 · 08/02/2019 14:14

@sar302. Lol that’s much how mine went

sar302 · 08/02/2019 14:16

Yeah they look rather positive to me... when was your period due? Do you have any other symptoms?

rebeccac29 · 08/02/2019 17:11

Last Monday I have 35day cycle started bleeding on day 30 which last 2 days was watery red no clots and no pain I just have headache and brown discharge wouldn't say that much

It sounds like something you really want, so I hope you get that positive result ASAP. Fingers crossed for March Thanks

Justus22 · 08/02/2019 18:13

They look very positive to me, how strange. Usually the darker the line the stronger the hcg in your urine so why she thought you'd need further confirmation. What day of your cycle would it be now if you're not pregnant? I'd buy another test but a first response of clear blue and see what that says. That 2 day bleed could've been implantation if light. I don't know what else I can suggest, i get lots of symptoms but only really period like cramps between 4-6 weeks which actually are so similar to around the time of my usual period so I could never tell from them. Hope you're OK, and the wait isn't too hard.x

rebeccac29 · 08/02/2019 21:24

I would be 5 days late now if not classing that bleed

rebeccac29 · 11/02/2019 10:20

Another postive this morning docs won't see me again till I miss my period and daren't do a clear blue

OP posts:
Justus22 · 11/02/2019 18:11

Why don't you want to do a clear blue. If you're getting positive tests then I'd go back with them and ask why if you're not pregnant? X

rebeccac29 · 12/02/2019 06:52

Might do that just done another and come up straight away why can't pregnacy be so simple
