Maternity leave policy for hsbc?

Hey I’ve been looking at few new perm roles since being made redundant and I’ve been looking at mat leave for hsbc in uk as well as qualifying period some say 14, others say 20.

Anyone be able to give me details? Thanks

In the office or in the branch? Not sure about branch but I used to work in the head office for similar bank and I think you needed to be there 6 months before qualifying and then you got 6 months paid. I guess HSBC would be similar but not 100% sure.

I work in head office and it’s 19 weeks full pay plus 19 week’s statutory as long as you have been at the company 40 weeks by expected due date.

From my experience they are good at flexible working for parents too. Much better than the company I moved to :(. Had I been able to find a better next step, I'd definitely have stayed for the mat pay and flexible working. Good luck finding something permanent X

Hi, do you know the policy if returning from first maternity leave pregnant? Is there a qualifying period for second maternity leave pay?

Did you ever find out if there is a qualifying period between maternity leaves please? I'm trying to find this out currently x
