Don't know whether I am pregnant or have had a miscarriage

So 16 days ago I found out I was roughly 1-2 weeks pregnant I did about 5 tests all positive all lines quite dark. Then 11 days later woke up to really bad cramping and soon after started bleeding the cramps where quite bad most of the day and there was quite a lot of blood. I rang 111 they told me to keep an eye on it as it could be anything from a miscarriage or implantation bleeding. It got better the blood died down a bit and so did the cramps but still went to an out of hours pregnancy test still pregnant blood pressure heart beat and the had a listen for bowel movements and that was all normal. Then two days later I started passing large blood clots and the blood got worse but the cramping didn't went to a&e did the same tests again all came back normal felt along my abdomen and there was no pain so the dr said he was almost 99% sure it wasn't a miscarriage but about a day later I passed what I think was some tissue but the blood has died down and turned to more of a brown discharge I've done about 8 pregnancy tests and the line each time says pregnant but it's really very faint my boobs don't feel as sore anymore either and I don't get that sick feeling either. I don't know whether I am still pregnant or if the hcg is getting out of my system.

Hi OP, I'm sorry you're having what sounds like an incredibly difficult time.

Under those circumstances it sounds like you really should be having blood tests done to check your HCG levels. Have you tried calling an Early Pregnancy Unit, or speaking to your GP? With that much bleeding including clots, I'm so sorry but it doesn't sound very good and at this point I'm not sure it's sensible to rely on pregnancy tests as an indicator that things are ok.

Best wishes. Thanks

I’m so sorry to hear you’re going through this. I agree it sounds like you really should get blood tests done. Tests will still say positive for a while after if you have miscarried. That said my mum bled having throughout her entire pregnancy with me to the point she didn’t believe anything was ok until I was born, prematurely and very low weight but fine. Contact your gp, I can’t imagine how you must feel right now and it must be very scary but you do need to know. I hope everything turns out ok for you x
