Is anyone else suffering from shortness of breath/congestion during sleep? This is making me anxious as I feel I can’t breath on waking up.

Get checked for anaemia.

I’ve had breathlessness through the whole pregnancy so far which has been a bit frustrating. It was the first symptom I had before finding out I was pregnant. Very weird but I guess the body is working hard working for 2 people. Worst is when I’m sleeping keep catching my breath in my sleep! Defo worth getting bloods checked although my iron levels have been good through out so far. Worth a check up incase it’s somerhjng else

I had bloods taken for anemia, which I didn't have, but the blood results showed I had a slight infection so was given anti bioctics. I have also been sleeping on two pillows on my left side and this has helped a bit. It may worth seeing your GP.
