Really sorry if tmi, but is it normal to have LOADS of discharge in the early stages of pg. Almost to the extent that i feel im wetting myself, think i may need to use a panty liner soon as its so uncomfortable is it normal? I keep thinking its bloodbut when i check its just erm...white! really sorry (TMI)

any other symptoms? Thrush can sometimes cause a lot of discharge, and is very common in pregnancy

scorpio1 · 03/07/2007 14:24

yes its normal.

TMI-it doesn't smell, does it? if it does, or its greyish and frothy, go to the docs. if its BV its dangerous.

Thrush will give you a thick white discharge, that itches.

either of these need sorting out. if its not these, its normal and fine!

Awww, bless ya. I had lots more discharge than usual at the start (though not of the milkshake variety!), things do settle down eventually. Hope you enjoy your pregnancy.
