Struggle with clothes? :(

Hey,

Is anyone else struggling with clothes and shopping for the bump?

I love wearing high waisted, thick good quality leggings but I can't seem to find any good ones that fit right or that are maternity?

And then on the top, t shirts just look too frumpy and I can find any nice blouses.

I use ASOS frequently but I'm really struggling at the minute. I was about a size 14 before pregnancy so I don't think the added weight gain is helping too. Any advice? :( xx

How pregnant are you?
I have bought six pairs of trousers/jeans from ebay. Topshop maternity wear and jojo for black work trousers.
For tops I buy size 14/16 and haven't got any actual maternity tops.
I have leggings but they came from asda I think and are not thick but fine under a dress.

The best leggings I have found are from Next. The ones I git from ASOS were really baggy. I have also got a few nice dresses from H&M and Dorothy Perkins.

My leggings came from next - really liked them. Am still wearing them even though I gave birth two weeks ago haha.

I’ve put on 1.5 stone overall and have bought my pre pregnancy size which fit perfectly.

I bought some maternity leggings from Asda, I think they were about £10 for 2; and have lasted me throughout my pregnancy- are high waisted, thick and comfy! I also bought a fair bit at the start in the Dorothy Perkins sale so haven’t spent much, their dresses and trousers are good. Jumpers I’ve just bought non maternity ones in bigger sizes as they’ll be nice and cozy afterwards anyway.

Mamalicious organic cotton leggings (from John Lewis) are really good. I started wearing them at 12 weeks and they stayed up then with no bump, and they still fit and are really comfy now at 32 weeks. They're thick/opaque and soft, and not shiny! I think they were a 2 pack for £20.

Have a look on new look maternity x

For me I wear standard over the bump jeans if I'm going out somewhere special or if I feel like I can cope being uncomfortable.. otherwise I am now at the stage of if it's not the right time of day for PJ's then it's trackie bottoms because nothing else is actually comfortable anymore. I try to put make up on to make myself feel a little presentable, otherwise people get what they see, a fat, uncomfortable, miserable pregnant woman lol

Best leggings I have found are from marks and Spencer. I got some over bump jeggings from next. New look ones keep falling down. I have some new look long sleeve tops to wear with the jeggings and got long tunic style tops in Tesco. I am really struggling with nice tops for going out for dinner etc. Can't find anything I like.
