Miscarriage - what now?

Hi, I don’t know what I am expecting by posting this.

I got a bfp on Jan 18th (3w+5). I started bleeding on the 19th which lasted 48hrs. I prepared myself for it being a chemical. Bleeding stopped really abruptly.

BFPs continued, lines got darker, digital showed 1-2. Nausea and tiredness hit, as did headaches, runny nose and breast changes.

Tested Wednesday (5w+3) and it was the darkest line yet. Nearly the same as the control.

Tested this morning (Sunday, 6w) with a digital because I wanted to see 2-3 or 3+ but it flashed as not pregnant. I did a FRER with same FMU but I couldn’t see a line after a couple of minutes.

No pain or bleeding since the 20th Jan. Did I actually miscarry 2 weeks ago and the lines got darker? Or could I have just miscarried and be expecting pain/blood?

Not due to see the midwife until Feb 18th. I can ring the EPU tomorrow but with a negative HPT I don’t know if they’ll want to hear. They weren’t all that helpful when I rang regarding the bleeding.

I know with a negative it’s has to be a miscarriage? But I don’t know what to do/expect now :(

Hi OP - sorry for the uncertainty. Google “the hook effect” with pregnancy tests, sometimes this can happen is urine HCG is too high. Some women get a negative with normal urine but a positive after diluting their urine with water.

I’ve googled but I’d only be 6 weeks so don’t think it would be possible. Especially as I never got a 2-3 on the digi.

Still nauseous, wish that would just go. All I’ve done today is cry :(
