how do i have a bump already ?!

Hi all, this is my first thread on here. I found out I was pregnant with my second last week, I went to the gym this week and when I looked in the full length mirror I was totally shocked to see my stomach is already growing into a bump shape, my clearblue said 2-3 and based off my last period I'm about 5 weeks but I'm very clearly going to start looking pregnant very soon, with my first I didn't show until I was about 30 weeks, and I'm a size 10, how early did everyone start showing with there second ? Is this normal ? I'm
freaking out a teeny bit x

I got asked twice whether I was expecting before I'd even missed my period. I'm short and was in maternity gear at 10 weeks first time but second time around it was ridiculous.

@Byebyefriend honestly my jeans are feeling snug already 😩 there's no way I'm going to be able to hide it until 12 weeks if I keep going the way I am, I'm an 8/10 and 5'3, I think I'm going to be gigantic this time x

Lots of people start showing much earlier in second and subsequent pregnancies but tbh it's mainly just bloat at this early stage. That said I've just got my maternity jeans out at 9 weeks...

@Lucky11111 no they don't but I have wondered a few times if that's what's going on, @Easterbuns1 I'm going to start looking for some decent maternity jeans, I threw mine out 6 months ago when I moved house 😩 x

Same here but then it went down. Think I was just bloated!

I think I had an initial hormonal swell then it went - it was more bloating than bump iyswim?

@Sausagefingers9 @PinkAvocado I'm hoping it's just initial bloat, but it is very bump like rather than bloat like, it curves on my whole stomach rather than pops out at the bottom x

I'm 7 weeks with my 2nd, same height and weight as you and exactly the same with bump growing. It's probably mostly bloat and the food I can't stop eating but I'm shocked as it how quickly I'm showing. Trying to hide as long as possible but not sure that'll be too long!

@boodles101 glad to hear it's not just me ! And same here, constantly starving and constantly tired 😂 not a good combo for not wanting to put lots of weight on this time around, I'm guessing I'm going to start showing significantly around 8/9 weeks with the way I seem to be going and I wanted to keep it hush till 12 weeks x
