Hello,

I am a first time mum, I am 34 weeks today and have just been diagnosed with OC. I have been told they're going to induce me at 37/38 weeks and have been put on Ursodeoxycholic Acid but I am absolutely terrified something bad is going to happen within the next three weeksSad I am having weekly antenatal appointments and growth scans every 2 weeks and prior to this I was low risk, planning to give birth at the MLU which has now changed to me being high risk, consultant led. Please can I have some reassurance that everything will be okay?SadSad

Hi @paisleysoanes I had this with my daughter diagnosed at 32 weeks induced at 38 weeks. It sounds like you are in good hands and they are doing everything they should weekly monitoring of your bile levels. Of course always keep an eye on kicks count and any concerns go straight in. Check out icp support on Facebook or itchy moms they have lots of advice x

Hello, I have had this with both pregnancies. I second ICP Support on Facebook, it's a brilliant group run by leading researchers into the condition so you get expert advice and support from fellow sufferers. Hang in there! Flowers
