I've just got out of the bath and went to the toilet I'm 32 weeks. When I wiped after the toilet there seemed to be like a clear jelly type of thing. I looked it up on google and it's telling me it's my mucas plug. I looked at photos and it looks the exact same. I'm really scared and don't no what to do right now. Can someone please give me advice? Am I going into labour?

You can lose part of your mucus plug (or the whole thing) and not go into labour. It often re-grows if not near term.

Ring triage for some advice.

I lost my plug at 28 weeks and went in to labour at 37 weeks. Your plug can come loose and grow back so please don't worry.

You don't need to do anything, it's perfectly normal and doesn't mean labour us imminent arrival. Obviously if you start to have contractions/ period type pain or lose waters then call may.

I had similar during my pregnancy - cannot remember what stage sorry. I remember keeping the tissue and taking it to the dr Blush apparently quite normal to have mucousy dischage.

In your shoes id check with your midwife but id not panic.

I also lost a bit of my plug when at 37 weeks. I'm 39 now and still no baby and midwives weren't concerned, they said it happens and to just keep an eye on things.
