Exhaustion at 23/24 weeks?

I'm 24 weeks pregnant with baby #2. Admittedly I have a very busy toddler to look after, but I am suddenly so, so, so tired. I turned out to be anemic after having my son but wasn't at time of 28 weeks bloods last time.

I felt fantastic a few weeks ago, but I am suddenly exhausted. I'm taking pregnancy vitamins plus 1 Spatone sachet a day at the moment, and eat red meat about twice a week. I'm still shattered :( tried ringing my doctor's surgery but receptionist said they're hectic and can I call back on Monday.

Is it normal to be this tired? And do I have to wait until 28 weeks to check my iron levels or can I request a blood test sooner?

Any suggestions on how to help with the tiredness, especially with a busy toddler?

I’d call or email gp to see if they can get you a blood test form before you see the mw but, yes, I’m so exhausted all the time and I’m not anaemic, it’s just my body being so busy from making a new person! I’m nearly 20 weeks and have been like this throughout, having to nap in the day and sleep for 9-10 hours at night.
