Reduced movements? 29 weeks

Hi all :)

Currently 29 weeks and over the past few days I've been feeling baby moving less. She still is a bit and I'm still feeling her hiccups, however, the reduction in movements is worrying me? I was feeling her every hour or two moving down to only a couple of times a day.

Is this something to be worrying about or is she just getting positioned and running out of room in there?

All the advice now is that movements shouldn’t reduce as you get further along and that any change means you should go and get checked out my your midwife.

I’m 34 weeks and pretty big and having more frequent and stronger movements so I really wouldn’t put off getting seen because you think it’s running out of room.

I’m sure everything’s absolutely fine and you shouldn’t panic but do get seen to double check.

Yes, please get checked out - I’d call maternity triage tonight, explain your concernd and ask for advice.

Yeah as above

How did you get on OP?

I rang day assessment unit on Monday.. I was 28+6 with reduced movements. He had been really quiet on the Sunday and I hadn't felt him on the Monday morning so I rang up and they told me to come straight in. Luckily everything was fine but please don't ever think that your being dramatic or silly, go and get checked. Like my midwife says, we'd rather be safe then sorry xx

I did the exact same, I went to the assessment unit and everything is okay. Definitely reassuring as the movements were a lot less :)
