Quad blood test

We've just been for our 12 weeks scan at 13 week 5 days and the baby wouldn't stop wiggling around so couldn't have the nuchal checks done.. so we now have to wait to have the quad blood test at 16weeks before we know if everything is ok..

Has anyone else has to wait for the blood test? Did you tell people at this stage or did you wait for confirmation? We feel in limbo and it's hard to get excited until we know so are hold off telling our wider friends etc... any thoughts?

My bladder wasnt full enough at my 12 week scan, which i had when i was 12 weeks exactly. I have my midwife appointment in a few days. We told people after the scan but didnt do any fb announcements or anything haha! I think it would be hard to hide to wait for test results as I'm already showing at 15+4 and I haven't been drinking obviously.

I'm very nervous and unsure whether to have the quad test done tbh!
