Hi all,

I'm 33+ weeks and for the past couple of days I've been having a few niggles.

  • breasts becoming more tender
  • random period type pain, sometimes going up as high as belly button
  • random shooting pains in vagina
  • tired and emotional

Baby is moving as normal :)

Wondering if anyone had/has any signs that labour was going to start for them?

I think those are probably all about right for that stage of preganacy.
I remember symptom checking too!

I didn't really get any signs except when the actually contractions started.
Don't believe them when they say that you'll know its labour as the contractions will slowly become more intense and closer together. Mine did not behave that way for the first long 12 hour night so I assumed it could not be the real thing (I was just being a wimp)
Cue almighty pain when in the bath the next morning, and my waters then breaking. I'm quite glad I was oblivious as it turned my slow labour into what I remember as an extreme 1hr and 49 minutes.
