Reduced movements (handhold)

35 weeks and I haven't felt baby since this morning. This is the 5th time it's happened!!
Just waiting to be seen in triage.

I have an anterior placenta so understand why this keeps happening. Plus I had a scan on Monday (had a few extra scans due to the reduced movements) and all seemed fine.

Don't know what I'm asking for. Just sitting here waiting and I'm getting nervous x

I didn't have an anterior placenta but my baby did like to have her 'quiet days' which used to freak me out so I know how you feel! I think I spent the last 2 months just worrying all the time, endless lying on my left side eating chocolate trying to get her to move. I think my DP thought it was an excuse to eat chocolate all the time 😂 Was such a relief when I finally had her but now I'm doing it all again.

Hopefully you don't have to wait too long for reassurance. Sending hugs Flowers

I went 6 times in total...Also with an anterior placenta. I know how you are feeling....utter dread was how I felt. One delightful triage midwife laughed at how worked up and 'emotional' I had got one time!

I hope everything is ok, I am sure it will be. The fact you are there shows what a great mum you are going to be.

Thank you both!!
I'm now sitting on the CTG. baby's heart rate is lovely and I can even hear movements happening....im just not feeling them at all!!

They've planned another scan tomorrow just to check the little one over (that's the policy here) so fingers crossed all is ok.
These babies know how to keep us on our toes don't they??!

Glad all is ok! Anterior placenta here too and had a scare followed by 2 growth scans but all is looking ok! Enjoy the little heartbeats 💗

That's great! It is so scary when you can't feel movement. You panic so much.
