Could I be pregnant?

Hi,

I'm very new to this so please bear with me and excuse my lack of acronyms (struggling to work out what they all mean).

I was just looking for a bit of advice as to whether there's a chance I could be pregnant.

My boyfriend and I recently decided we'd like to try for a baby (had a chemical pregnancy 2 years ago but nothing since then). I've been on the pill for approx 12 years and stopped on 06/01/19. I came on period on 10/01/19. My bf and I had unprotected sex on 17/18th & 25/26th Jan. This last week my nipples have been really sore (never had this before), I've had slight cramping in my abdomen and a dull ache in vagina. I've also been having very vivid dreams. Could this be a sign or pregnancy or possibly another period coming?

As I've been on the pill for so long I have no idea what my natural cycle is like. I'm trying to hold off doing a test as when I had my chemical pregnancy I got a bit obsessed with doing them as I really wanted to be pregnant (even though it wasn't planned).

Any advice would be appreciated as I'm not sure how to work out when I would have been ovulating and if there's even a chance I could be pregnant.

Thank you,

Jess Smile

You could be PG yes, but it could also be your body adjusting to not having the pill.

If you are TTC, I'd keep on having sex every 2 or 3 days and wait a couple of weeks before you do a test.

Welcome to MN too Smile

Thank you for responding @JiltedJohnsJulie
I'll try and put off testing and see if I come on a period at all. If not then I will do a test. I just wanted to check if it was possible I could be pregnant.

Thank you :)

It is possible but don’t be disheartened if you’re not, you’ve only just come off the pill and for some people it can take their body a while to adjust, while some get pregnant right away. Best of luck xx

Thank you @GabbyGal I'm trying not to get ahead of myself for that reason. Just going to go with the flow and hope it happens for me at some point :) xxx

The dates fit so you could be pregnant. Symptoms can begin once implantation occurs.
