Pregnancy symptoms but negative tests

Hi all!

I'm currently on the pill and take a break once every 3 months. I've had a few symptoms such as headaches, cramping, a weird really low down abdominal pressure, peeing little and often, becoming very spotty (skins usually clear all the time), a higher sense of smell and eating EVERYTHING in sight 🐖. This was all before I got to the end of my pill packet and about 2 weeks ago I had some spotting. I've been on the same pill for 3 years and taking it in the same routine.

I had a "withdrawal" bleed once I'd finished my packet a few days earlier than I usually get it. So I kinda assumed all the symptoms would go but they haven't! I've taken two tests and they've both been negative. They were just cheap Asda ones, should I go for something more expensive? I assume they all do the same thing!

Pregnant enough for symptoms is generally pregnant enough for a positive test. Could easily be symptoms from the pill. It might be that it's just not agreeing with you at the moment.

When was the last time you had sex? Tests are pretty definitive three weeks after you last had sex.

Early Pregnancy and PMS symptoms are the same and tests are pretty accurate once your period is due. I had 'Pregnancy' symptoms every month apart from the one I was actually pregnant when I stopped the pill!
