I am looking at getting the MAM bottles, are their specific ones you start off with? I've seen the self sterilising ones that you can use in the microwave and then the ordinary ones both from birth what are the best ones? Also do the mam bottles fit in any steriliser? has anyone used the mam microwave steriliser? Help! thanks xx

Hi MAM bottles are fantastic. Google MAM starter set and you get everything you need. I paid £27 off Amazon for it. The self sterilising ones mean you don't need to have an extra steriliser as it can all be done in the microwave. I'm due to have my 2nd child any day now and I've bought MAM again Smile

Hi we used mam bottles and we sterilised them in Tommy tippee steriliser as we bought this with the Tommy tippee bottles. We got the self steriliser ones which were handy when we were away and just popped them in the microwave. X

Mam was the only bottle my ds took after trying the rest

These are great- 100% better than Tommee Tippee with the ridiculously wide teat.

Like a pp I’m due dc2 and will be buying MAM again.

Hi just tagging onto this thread. I know this might seem like a silly question but do the mam bottles work with any prep machine?

Angelmiracle · 30/01/2019 17:42

I know my friend is using it with Mam bottles no problem - the perfect prep

We used the mam self sterilising bottles from the start with the perfect prep - no problems with either. The mam bottles are really good and no needing a steriliser saves a bit of space.

Amazing bottles!

I used avent with my first two but my third couldn't manage them, milk would pour out of her mouth and she had LOADS of wind.

I bought a single Dr Browns and a single MAM. The MAM won hands down. The only drawback in that the measuring lines dont go down to the bottom which we wanted because we were trying to gauge how much she was eating. All it means is that you need to pour it into something else to check (if you want to know). We also have the self sterilising ones - utter genius. Although we do also have an avent steriliser that we use to do a load in one go.
