20 week scan tomorrow- nervous

Our 20 week scan is tomorrow and I'm quite nervous. The 12 week scan joy lasted 1 day for me as I got a call the day after saying we were high risk of DS. Had a harmony test since then which came back as all fine but I think that experience has just made me nervous about scans.
We are seeing a fetal medicine specialist as I have low papp a but they've said he may say tomorrow that I don't need to see him again. My MW has said not to worry about the low papp a as she's never known it actually be an issue.
I'm just a bit scared about how it's all going to go. Will they let us watch the screen whilst they are looking at everything and talk us through what they are doing?
Please share your experiences!

At mine they did their checks first etc and then once they had all the data they needed she turned the screen around and showed us baby etc. She explained it can take a while as they take measurements etc so don’t panic. No doubt your sonographer will explain before they start the scan though! Enjoy the scan :)

I was nervous about mine too. I was able to see the screen as she was doing it, so could see baby was moving etc, but she was concentrating hard and looked very serious while she was looking as a result. She said she was happy with various things as she went along. Her serious face was a little alarming but all was fine !! Good luck OP, I'm sure it'll be ok.

Good luck @pandechocolate - mines in 2 weeks and pretty terrified. Heard the heart beat just over a week ago, which was amazing, but haven't felt any movement.

It's a scary time but it's more than likely that your scan will go well and be one of the most amazing experiences of your life. FX for you.

Honestly it was the most amazing thing I've ever done.
