Help. I've never ever in my whole life liked seafood of any kind however 20 weeks pregnant and the thought of prawn toast (which I've never even tried) is making me drool 🤤 very badly!
I'm going to a Chinese buffet and would really love to try some...can I or is it best to just try and get it out of my crazy craving brain??

Of course you can try some! There's nothing in it that might be harmful. Enjoy your prawn toast!

There is no harm in trying some, if your body is craving it you may as well try it! And you're allowed cooked prawns so its ok.

Thank you guys. This craving malarkey is madness! 🦐

Can I just say that seeing the title 'prawn toast' has now got me craving it so bad!!!

blondeirishmummy84 · 29/01/2019 15:43

LOL me too actually, I wouldnt mind some prawn toast now myself!

With DS1 pregnancy I was totally turned off by all things seafood related but this pregnancy actually has me slightly craving it!

I was massively in to prawns and tuna when pregnant, no idea why! But yes, it's fine to eat.

Porridgeprincess · 29/01/2019 16:51

I want prawn toast immediately

Chocolatecoffeeaddict · 29/01/2019 16:53

Prawn toast is fine as long as it's cooked through. I never ate off buffets during pregnancy though as it's not recommended, but if the food is hot and fresh it should be fine.

CaseofEllen · 29/01/2019 19:03

Yes! Eat away. I want some prawn toast now 🤤

@Chocolatecoffeeaddict I wish I'd read your advice BEFORE going to buffet. I've been crippled for two days with stomach ache!
