Too many scans in first trimester?

Hello

Just wondering how many scans everyone has had in the first trimester?

I’ve already had 3 vaginal scans - 1 NHS scan at 6wks due to suspected ectopic, then at 7 wks which was my private IVF early scan, then another private scan last week at 9 weeks following a very heavy red bleed, apparently from the cervix.
Anyway, since the scan last week I have still been having brown spotting and have convinced myself all is not well, I feel like a nervous wreck and can’t think about anything else, I even picked a horrible fight with DH earlier as he is too laid back about it with lots of crying etc. I know I am obsessive over it but it has taken us 4 long years to get to this stage! If you were in my position would you book another private scan or sit it out until the 12 weeks?

Has anyone else had alot of scans in the 1st trimester?

I had a lot. But I would hold out till 12 week scan (one thing the UK does better than the US - first a an at 12 weeks).
The more scans you have the more you're giving into the fear. There's not much a scan can do.
