How soon after miscarriage should I have my period?

How soon after a miscarriage has people's periods returned to normal? I'm slightly worried as still not had mine yet and they say between 4-6 weeks after?

Unfortunately this really is different for everybody and will depend on a number of factors. How far into your pregnancy were you? Typically the further along you were the longer it may take as you will have higher hCG levels that need to return to normal. My cycle was only a few days longer than normal after mine but I was only 4.5 weeks at the time of miscarriage.

At my 6 week mc period returned 4.5weeks later. At my 8week mc I was back to normal in 5weeks and it was 6weeks after I was induced for my loss at 15weeks. So does vary. Also vary in intensity and length too so although returned may not be "normal" for a while.
