Just to clarify I am not the poo troll Grin

I have been suffering from mild cramps since 2am (like a period cramp) and have had 4 bowel movements today! (TMI sorry)

How can I make them stop if baby isn’t on the way

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
HenweeArcher · 27/01/2019 21:57

Sounds very positive! Could be a while yet but it’s definitely a good sign.

willisurvive3under2 · 27/01/2019 21:58

This is how my first labour started. Spent a lot of the night on the toilet, baby was born at lunchtime the day after! How many weeks are you?

moreismore · 27/01/2019 22:00

Sounds promising! Could still stop/start though...

KitKat1985 · 27/01/2019 22:01

That's how my first labour started. Fingers crossed!

Bigonesmallone3 · 27/01/2019 22:01

How far along are you?

MyBreadIsEggy · 27/01/2019 22:03

Good sign!!
I got the trots the day before my second baby was born!!
And bonus to this: it’s unlikely you’ll shit yourself during labour Grin

TrixieFranklin · 27/01/2019 22:04

Ooooo how far gone are you? Is it your first?

Oooarrnamechange · 27/01/2019 22:05

Thanks all.

I’m 38 weeks.

I’d like to think because of this I won’t shit myself in labour but I can’t believe how much is coming out of me Blush

I’ve had a few false alarms the past week and a half so I’m trying to not get too excited. If it could come tonight though that would be great as I wouldn’t have to go to work tomorrow Grin

Im huge and thoroughly had enough lol :D

PennyMordauntsLadyBrain · 27/01/2019 22:09

I had this in the days before.

A big plus- I didn’t shit myself during labour Grin

MyBreadIsEggy · 27/01/2019 22:23

First baby: no shits before the big day. Baby born at 38+1. I shit myself. My DH wipes my arse for me, god love him.

Second baby: Mega shits before the big day. Baby born at 36+0. Did not shit myself. No arse-wiping duties for DH Grin

secretnames · 27/01/2019 22:45

i had this with both my labours so fingers crossed OP!

MrsBlondie · 27/01/2019 22:47

I had this with both my children. No poo in labour either! Mine were born 11 days and 14 days early

TrixieFranklin · 27/01/2019 22:50

When I go into labour I'm going to really panic about shitting myself if I haven't had this before now.. Blush

Oooarrnamechange · 27/01/2019 22:53

@MyBreadIsEggy that is true love right there.

Shitting myself in labour is one of my worries! But need to actually get to labour first and I really hope it’s going to be soon!

TrixieFranklin - I promise you, when the time comes, you won’t give a fuuuuuuck!

I was worried about it as well, then as labour progressed I blandly turned to the midwife and said “I need to poo.” And she just said “I’d really rather you didn’t.”. Then I shouted to DH to look away! Thankfully it was actually just me having the sensation that I needed to push the actual baby out, but I was fully prepared to do it Grin

Passthecake30 · 27/01/2019 23:10

I had the shits the day before labour. Also lost my front waters in one of the "episodes" as the mw said they had gone and I certainly hadn't noticed them going.

explodingkitten · 27/01/2019 23:11

Ooooh fingers crossed Smile

mrsed1987 · 27/01/2019 23:39

I had loose bowels the day before so deffo was a sign for me

Rtmhwales · 28/01/2019 00:22

I shit myself and second pp that you don't give a f%#k. Hope it's on the way for you OP!

clairestandish · 28/01/2019 00:26

I had a big ‘clear out’ but it didn’t stop more from coming out during pushing haha

Oooarrnamechange · 28/01/2019 05:42

Nothing happened last night :(

Hopefully today though! My bump looks smaller today though. I assume this is because the baby has moved down? It wasn’t a huge bump to begin with...

littlemisscynical · 28/01/2019 10:38

Oh this happened me too. Loose bowels for a few days and then diarrhoea and vomiting the day before baby arrived. Good luck OP

littlemisscynical · 28/01/2019 10:39

Ps I was 37+5 when baby arrived. Still pooped during labour. Didn't care Grin

Oooarrnamechange · 29/01/2019 08:16

Still no baby! It’s also stopped now which I guess is good?

Got my midwife appointment today and I reallllllly hope there’s been some progress
