We need a pushchair that’ll fit in a small boot that can be used from
Newborn with inserts as I will not fit a carry cot. Thanks x

Maclaren.

Which car do you have? The Babyjogger City Mini is good, it folds very in half and is very flat. The wheels are quick release so you can take them off to make it fit better. With one wheel off, I could lie it flat in the boot off my Corsa. If you have a smaller boot than that, you can either stand it on its edge and take the parcel shelf out or possibly fit it between the front and passenger seats on the other side to the baby. The pushchair lies completely flat so is suitable from birth. I'm sure there are others that fold up small though.

I couldn't get my sister's standard size Maclarenin my Corsa - it was too long to fit width wise and my boot was too small for it to go diagonally. A smaller one might be OK.

Babyzen yo-yo is one of the smallest but very expensive and useless on any terrain other than shopping centres.

NannyR · 27/01/2019 21:04

Which car do you have? I drive a skoda citigo and I can fit the baby jogger city mini double in no problem, so the single would be even easier. Can also fit an icandy peach, not so easily but it does go in.

MrsWidgerysLodger · 27/01/2019 21:04

I believe the Babyzen Yoyo can be used from birth and that folds up tiny!!!

Stringofpearls · 27/01/2019 21:06

I can get the Mothercare Nanu pushchair in my teeny tiny car!

Stringofpearls · 27/01/2019 21:07

Not sure if you can get a insert for it thougbHmm

I drive a Peugeot 107 which has one of the smallest boots. My bugaboo bee 5 fits in there, though it is a squash and it doesn’t leave room for anything else.

My Oyster Zero fits sideways in the boot of a Peugeot 108.

Emelene · 27/01/2019 21:18

My Oyster 2 fitted in my little Ford Ka - with the wheels off - and I love it!

lancslass17 · 27/01/2019 21:39

I have a suzuki alto and got an oyster 2 pram.
I went to Mothercare and asked to try the smallest pram in my boot, there were a couple that fit ( otherwise was looking for new car)

Lou0219 · 27/01/2019 22:26

I have a Toyota Aygo so boot is extremely small x

One with quite release wheels. I've got a Vauxhall Adam which is very small, boot space is miniscule but I can still got my out n about nipper into it if I pop the wheels off, not suggesting that buggy as such, just one with wheels that can be removed

Josie465 · 28/01/2019 05:21

I have a Citroen C1 so tiny tiny boot. We’ve bought the new oyster 3 and it fits in my boot (it’s easier with the parcel shelf removed). The wheels are quick release so makes my life easier to pop the larger wheels off. I can fit the carry cot on the back seat alongside the baby in car seat but the pushchair section does also lie flat so you wouldn’t have to use a carry cot if you didn’t want to.

Mountain Buggy Swift.

Katnisnevergreen · 28/01/2019 05:45

I bought a Phil and ted Mod for my fiesta as it was all that would fit. It folds in half rather than flat so is much shorter.

guiltynetter · 28/01/2019 05:53

oyster 2

Devonshiremummy · 28/01/2019 05:57

I have an Aygo and fit my out and about buggy (which is large) into the boot, just need to release one wheel. Can't fit anything else in mind. And I used the buggy from newborn, just lie flat. Still doing a grand job now baby is 2 1/2 x

Newyearnewunicorn · 28/01/2019 06:00

Silver cross pop is from birth and folds small

willowsmumsy · 28/01/2019 07:05

It's a few years ago for me, but I used a Quinny Zapp. That folded up quite small and could be used from birth.

TulipsInbloom1 · 28/01/2019 07:08

Mamas and Papas Armadillo Flip.

PRoseLegend · 28/01/2019 07:14

I have a mazda3 hatch and my Steelcraft Agile Elite folds flat and fits nicely in the boot. Plus it's super easy to fold and unfold. Suitable for newborn to 4yrs without inserts, but you can put a steelcraft or britax baby capsule car seat in it if you want (comes with adaptors)

Snowwhite23 · 28/01/2019 17:12

I put one back seat down with my aygo to get my mothercare pram in the boot and carrycot went on top. Baby went on passenger seat until she was in a bigger car seat and then i just got a small stroller for going out which made life much easier.
Bit faffy but better than having to buy a new car!
