Can you use any car seat with any pushchair?

Hi

We are having our first baby & it’s all confusing we wanted to buy the kiddy evo 2 car seat van we use this as a travel system with any pushchair with the kiddy adapters? Or is the kiddy car seat only suitable to use with specific pushchairs?

It will be specific to the pushchair unless there are adaptors to make it compatible with other ones. Some aren't compatible with others at all

I've got this car seat and it's compatible with maxi Cali adapaters; so if you can get maxi cosi car seat adapters then you'll be fine xx

Short answer: no.

Longer answer: go to a decent pram shop and ask for advice. There are so many different brands of travel system, brands of car seat etc.

The “biggest” car seat brand is maxi cosi. A lot of travel systems are maxi-cosi compatible. I’d start there as a means of simplifying your search.

We have the kiddy car seat and have the egg pram to go with the egg car seat adapters

I think many travel systems are compatible with the maxi cosi. We have a bugaboo cameleon and it has adapters to attach the maxi cosi pebble on.
