25+1 and today I've woken up with such a sore tummy Sad

It really feels like a pulled muscle and it hurts even getting up or walking or changing position, I can barely even do the housework.

Is this to do with everything stretching? I feel so fed up and uncomfortable.

Was going to text my midwife but I don't even have her number anywhere in my notes.

I just don't know what to do to make myself feel better.

Maybe ring your doctor and go there?

Could it be constipation? I've had that feeling before and it was constipation for me. Or a urine infection? Sometimes that can be pretty painful in the lower stomach and common in pregnancy.

If baby is moving/kicking as normal then I wouldn't worry about it. But maybe just book in with your doctor to try figure out what it is. Good luck with it, and maybe have some pain killers :)

@mollie778 I think I'm going to ring them tomorrow, it feels like a really bad pulled muscle Sad

I have anterior placenta also so his movements vary a lot

Do you have fibroids? I woke up one day in excruciating pain and unable to even turn in bed. When I was seen at a&e I was informed that one of my fibroids was degenerating.

@Campurp nope I don't have that.

Are they something that can develop during pregnancy or do they have to exist prior?

I found out I had them by chance at my 12 week scan and had no idea prior. They can grow at alarming rates due to hormones released in pregnancy which is what happened to me.

The sonographer only found my 2 after about 25 minutes of scanning as the baby wouldn't stay still. I'd hope they would have been found in you by you but there's no harm in asking for them to check when you go in.

Good luck. X
