Are you drinking enough water? It's definitely important to get headaches checked out as it can be a sign of preeclampsia.

You need to get checked out.
Most pregnancy discomforts are niggles, but this could be a sign of something wrong.

Drink tons of water , I did see on google about pre eclampsia but saw other symptoms go with the headaches unless I’m wrong , but yes thank you will get checked tommorow so painful Sad

Yes I do.
Especially first thing in the morning, but they tend to last all day. I have started eating small snacks more regularly and drink lots of fluids and may be making a difference slightly? Not too sure. Time will tell. I get migraines and tension headaches. It's a real pain as I can't do a lot during these days. I mentioned to the midwife, but she just said well that is pregnancy for you....

I had constant headaches all the way through my last pregnancy, every day, from about 8ish weeks through to about 32 weeks.
Just like you, they lasted for days and just as one finally eased off another one started. I was consultant led at the hospital so after telling them how bad my headaches had become and how frequent I was refered to see a nurologyst.

Turns out to be pregnancy migraines, yup it's actually a thing! Although they couldn't make them stop I was prescribed dihydrocidene and paracetamol to help with the pain. They did ease off in the 3rd trimester but I have seen people say theirs eased off sooner. Hopefully yours will too x

I'm 12 weeks and I've had headaches everyday for the past week. My mother had preeclampsia with me and told me how worried she was getting when I told her about headaches. I left my MW a voicemail last week but no reply. I'm trying to drink more water and it's helping a bit x

I'm pregnant and had this. You can take paracetamol but tbh I just had to wait it out until it stopped, and then onto the next pregnancy side effect!

I had dreadful migraines at around 36 weeks. I couldn’t move with the pain and nausea. Like PP, I was referred to a neurologist and had an urgent MRI. Prescribed dyhydracodeine, which was good shit. Funnily enough, they stopped entirely when I went on mat leave, so was likely just my body telling me to stop working. Hope you feel better soon

I'm 23 weeks and just coming out of the headache phase. I had them every day's for about 6 weeks would wake up with one and go to bed with one , it was awful couldn't do anything and functioning was hard, I've not had one now for about 3 days and feel completely different so hoping that whatever was causinh them has stopped and I'll be headache free from now on !

I’m 31 weeks and have been getting them on and off, lasting 1-5 days each time, since early on. I have mentioned them at every dr/midwife apt, as I don’t have any other symptoms of pre eclampsia they haven’t been overly concerned.

You CAN take paracetamol so don’t suffer unnecessarily. I don’t find it helps much though...I also use 4head which takes the edge off. Drinking lots and eating regularly makes little difference to me. Pregnancy massage is expensive but has helped me.

Good luck :(

Thanks for the replies .... I really hope mine ease off Sad as this one still going strong I’m finding it hard to work and I’m only on part time hours, just want a dark room. I went to the Gp my blood pressure is normal but have asked me to get aload of bloods done, he said woman should feel better in the second trimester. He didn’t seem concerned about my headaches , il ask my midwife also. xx
