Hi @Jessicawarriner, I understand your worries, but many ladies have spotting and even bleeding in pregnancy and it turns out fine.

If you've only had a spot of blood and it was brown (old blood) and you've got no pain, it's likely to be ok. If you have any red blood or pain in your back or cramps, then it's probably wise to speak to your midwife or GP, or your Early Pregnancy Unit if you can self-refer.

Best of luck. Thanks

Thanks I had a little pain but not much but I worry a lot as still working 12 hour shifts and not much time to rest

That's good that you're not having much pain. Try not to worry though; foetuses are surprisingly resilient!

Hope everything's okay!

I miscarried and it started with a sharp cramps, then pinkish blood and then heavy period type no breaks in between and I woke up that day and just didn't feel pregnant anymore was all over within 48 hours.

yours sounds like spotting which is normal in pregnancy but I'd try and see your early pregnancy unit or GP for a scan and check up.

All through this pregnancy I've had the worst pains even before my BFP, the other night I had it all in my back and went up to a&e where I had a emergency scan and baby was doing a leg work out while waving. Try not to worry even though it's very hard!

Wishing you all the best! X

I'm really sorry to hear that, @Jessicawarriner. I had a miscarriage last year and understand how awful it can be.
There is a thread on this forum for what to expect when you miscarry, which you may find helpful.
Be kind to yourself. Thanks
