Is 10 week too early for nuchal scan?

I’ve had my letter through this morning for my NHS nuchal scan next Thursday but I will only be 10 +3, is this too early? Thanks x

I think so, I had mine last week. I was 12 weeks exactly but the baby has to measure 45mm, at 12 weeks I was only measuring 40mm so I have to go back in 2 weeks. Bonus for us, we get to see the baby again really soon!

Nuchal scan should be between 11+3 and 14+1 if I remember correctly. It’s likely you’ll get asked to go back. I’d advise you to call up first to rearrange for a week or so later
